Victoriya is a seasoned attorney with advanced degrees and extensive international experience. Before moving to the United States, she practiced law in Russia for about 11 years. Her specialties are corporate, business, and intellectual property law.
Before joining Pennell Law Firm PLLC, she worked as a lead lawyer in a group of IT companies, ARQA Technologies (http://arqatech.com/en/), which is a leader of Russian software for financial markets. She dealt with a wide range of practical issues involving consulting on the development and commercialization of complex software products and SaaS technologies she worked to develop corporate standards on GDPR, confidentiality, and informational security. She has extensive experience in technology-related commercial transactions, including outsourcing, software licensing, cloud hosting, and SaaS data supply and protection. She conducted legal risk and compliance assessments and developed corporate policies accordingly.
After moving to Houston with her husband, she obtained her Master of Law in U.S. Law from the University of Houston in 2018 and joined the firm as an associate. Her practice now includes all areas of civil and commercial litigation, including intellectual property, business divorce and partnership disputes, real estate, employment and non-competes.
Victoriya is a member of Young Professionals Committee of U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce.
In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family.
