A proud native Houstonian, I grew up in an era when kids played outside, Astroworld was an amusement park instead of a music album, and Earl Campbell and Nolan Ryan were the greatest athletes of all time. I put myself through college at the University of Houston by working a wide variety of character-building jobs before getting married and going to law school. After graduating, I clerked for a federal district judge, practiced big law for five years, and worked for two litigation boutiques before opening my own firm in 2017.
My wife, Stephanie, and I have been married for 18 years and still like each other. We have three disobedient and strong-willed children, but we like them too (although some days more than others). My hobbies include racquetball, reading, chess, playing guitar, lecturing my kids about the good old days, and getting my heart broken by my beloved Houston Cougars. We live in Sugar Land with our two dogs, Buddy and Holly.
Admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas.
